Overview

Kormi HR is a mobile HR app for employees, managers and HR. This module is its backend: it adds secure JSON endpoints, permissions and settings to Odoo. The app works against standard Employees, Attendances and Time Off; with this module it also serves portal users, dashboards, maps, notifications, recruitment and biometric device tools.

Internal users

See and do exactly what their own Odoo groups allow — Attendances, Employees, Time Off, Recruitment and the attendance suite groups.

Portal users

Unlicensed staff get attendance, mobile check-in and time off through a Mobile Access Grant that HR controls, scoped to self, team, department, company or chosen employees. No internal user is created.

Your data, your server

The app talks only to your Odoo. Every portal action is written to the Mobile Audit Log.

Check-in and attendance

• GPS check-in / check-out with geofenced sites (global and per employee) and the distance shown when refused
• Offline check-ins stored at the tapped time, marked Offline, with a configurable maximum age
• Mock-location and rooted-device blocking
• Working today board, attendance map with check-in pins, attendance reports

Time off and approvals

• Requests with attachments, balances, allocations, public holidays and mandatory days
• Approve / validate / refuse, also for portal managers within their grant
• Offline requests and decisions sent when the phone is back online
• Time-off statistics for HR and managers: approved, pending and refused, on leave today and approved days per month
• Filter by period or custom dates, time off type, department and employee; group by type, department, employee, month or status; rank employees by approved days, requests, pending or refused

Notifications

• Time-off requests to approvers and managers, with Approve / Refuse in the pop-up for internal users
• Decisions to the employee; holiday and mandatory-day reminders scheduled on the phone
• New job applications grouped into one notification per batch (“12 people applied”)

Recruitment (when Odoo Recruitment is installed)

• Job positions, applications by stage with counts and search
• Applicant details, CVs and attachments, activity history
• Move stage, evaluation stars and notes — Odoo’s rights decide every change

Biometric devices (with a Dot BD attendance suite)

• Works with our ZKTeco, Hikvision and combined ZKTeco + Hikvision suites, detected automatically
• Attendance dashboard with KPIs and monthly grid, attendance review, Excel reports
• Device manager: status, users, download attendance, sync time and users, restart
• Every attendance shows where each punch came from: ZKTeco or Hikvision device (with its name), Kormi app, kiosk, web browser or automatic check-out

Security

• Device enrolment with revocable tokens, per device or per user
• Two-factor authentication and biometric unlock supported by the app
• Mobile Audit Log for every portal action

Quick Setup Guide

1. Install Kormi HR — Mobile Backend. It needs Employees, Attendances and Time Off; Recruitment and the Dot BD attendance suites are optional and detected automatically.
2. Open Kormi HR › Configuration › Settings: mobile check-in, geofence enforcement, offline check-in limits and notifications.
3. Add geofence sites (global or per employee) if check-in must happen on site.
4. For portal staff, create a Mobile Access Grant per user: employee, role (employee / manager read / manager write), scope and permissions.
5. In the Kormi HR app, enter your Odoo address and database and sign in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do portal users become paid Odoo users?

No. Portal users stay portal users; the grant decides what they may see and do through the module’s own checked endpoints.

Do I need a ZKTeco or Hikvision suite?

No. Without a suite the app works on standard attendance; device, dashboard and review screens appear only when a suite is installed.

How do I get the mobile app?

The Android APK is provided on request for beta use (no source code); the app will be published on Google Play. Write to info@dotbdsolutions.com.

Which Odoo versions are supported?

Odoo 18.0, 19.0 and 19.5, Community and Enterprise.
